Tinged with purple when young, gray-brown older branches, fissured mature trunks.

Tar spot; no serious disease

Native Habitat:
Native to Northern China

Other Features:
Hybrid of A. truncatum and A. platanoides;

Culture and Care:
Prefers moist, acidic soils with good drainage--drought tolerant once established
