Yellow, 0.5" diameter, usually 3 together on drooping pedicels, 0.75" long.

Fruit Details:
Thick, densely pubescent samara, 1 or 2" long, upright wings curve inward or spread at right angles

Fall Color:
Yellow, red to purple

Bark Details:
Smooth gray to grayish brown

Disease / Insect Problems or Resistance:
None serious

Native Habitat:
Japan, central China

Other Features:
Highly ornamental bark, blue-green, trifoliate foliage, excellent fall color

Culture and Care:
Prefers well-drained, loamy, moist, slightly acid soil, full sun
