The mission of Boone County Arboretum is to “enrich the quality of life by providing a scenic outdoor classroom for appreciation and study of plants and preservation of the natural environment”.
Arboretum Day is our highlight event of the year. It is a great chance for you to learn more about your own environment and improve your knowledge of home landscape design.
There will be guided tours of the Arboretum. Adults can listen to presentations from local experts and meet personally with the many exhibitors explaining their services or selling their goods.

All this activity can make you hungry, which is why food will be available from L&L Catering, Shane’s Rib Shack, Graeter’s Ice Cream and more. Enjoy live music from the Howard House Band while you eat from 11:30-12:30.
